I have watched the two video clips and I have some understanding of school life in 1842. I have watched the video clips and I can complete the log book records in the role of a headmaster in 1842 and today. I have watched the video clips and completed the log book exercise.

Through answering questions about the log book records, I can identify differences between school life 'now and then' and suggest reasons for the changes.
 

Task 4 Activity 1 Evaluation - Mapping and Imaginative Writing

By using the date list, I can complete the 'drag and drop' exercise which shows how Blaenavon grew. By completing the 'drag and drop' exercise and studying population figures, I understand that Blaenavon grew considerably in the 19th century. I can suggest some reasons why this is so. I can imagine that I am a person returning to Blaenavon in 1842 and I can make observations about the growth of the town and how and why it has changed.
